I am not much of a morning person. Unless duty calls, I probably would not wake up this early. I am more of a sunset gal. However, nowadays, right after I drop off my daughter at her school is just the right time to capture the sunrise. This won't last long, as the days get longer I will loose this chance so in case you wonder why I got obsessed with the sunrise lately, this is the story behind it. I spotted this nice open area on the way to work from her school so I pull in the closest parking lot and off I go to shoot the rising sun and its uplifting colors. In addition to her education, getting up at 5 o'clock to take my daughter to school pays off nicely :) and allows me to go work with a huge smile on my face.
